Expressive arts includes 5 disciplines including drama/theater, art, music, writing/poetry, dance/movement. Some of the benefits of participating in Expressive Arts include (but are not limited to) Lowering stress levels, improving focus, increases in mood, coping with difficult emotions and nurturing emotional growth.

The combination of expressive arts and equine assisted learning is the perfect combination for people of ALL ages to practice life skills (trust, empathy, boundaries, leadership, confidence, problem solving, awareness, etc.) while fostering mental wellness and emotional growth.
Session Offerings
Individual Sessions
A private session includes an art activity with the company of horses. Prior to your session we will discuss what your desired outcome is of the time spent together which will help determine what your art activity you will be participating in. We will also discuss what your comfort level is in terms of interaction with the horses to determine the most aligned experience for you. These sessions are best for individuals that are looking for time to nurture their emotional/mental well being, have had limited success with traditional talk therapies, Struggle to connect with 1:1 supports, struggle interpersonally, have a hard time articulating feelings, suffer from anxiety, have experienced trauma, have behavioral challenges, are grieving, struggle with mental health challenges.
Art activities to choose from are painting, drawing, clay, sculpture. What have you always wanted to learn how to do artistically? Learn and create while you nurture yourself.
Family Sessions (2-6 people )
Family sessions are run exactly like the individual sessions. The only difference is that the focus of your session is family bonding. Your family will choose which art medium you would like to dabble in and the art activity that I create will be centered around bonding and relationship building. All activities will be in the company of the horses in a way that will accommodate your families comfort level.
School/Camp/Facility Program
If you have a large group of people that our services would benefit, this is a great option. Our Equine Expressive Arts program provides the mental wellness benefits to all ages. K-12 school age students in either the school setting or camp setting, nursing homes, veterans homes, senior living facilities, etc. There is no one that is too young or too old to enjoy the benefits that come from equine companionship and expressive arts.
We will trailer the horses to your facility. All participants will spend some quality time with the horses and all will participate in a group art activity.
Corporate Team building program
In this program, participants will learn all about herd mentality. Learning how the horse herds work together is a great way to build bonds and foster relationships with your colleagues. Couple that with an art activity designed to work together, this becomes the perfect recipe for team building for the work place.
We will trailer the horses to your facility. All participants will spend some quality time with the horses and all will participate in a group art activity.
